Writing for the Web is an art. I say this in all humility, because it’s an art I have had to learn over the years.
Thing is, people don’t like to read on the Internet. Not for any length of time, at least. They like short sentences. Bullet points. The written equivalent of soundbites.
Of course, that’s for copywriting. If you’re writing an article or short story or poem that just happens to be posted online, that’s a different matter.
