Financial articles

I have been writing for the financial services industry for more than 15 years, both as a marketing writer and a journalist. I am currently a regular contributor to Horsesmouth.com and AdvisorMax.com, two of the top online resource centers for financial services professionals. As a journalist, I have also written about the world of financial services for Registered Rep, TICKER, and Multexinvestor.com (now Reuters), among other media outlets.

A few of my recent (and not-so-recent) financial articles are posted below. (Some are under my maiden name, Leslie Rosenberg.)

Web Content

Writing for the Web is an art. I say this in all humility, because it’s an art I have had to learn over the years.

Thing is, people don’t like to read on the Internet. Not for any length of time, at least. They like short sentences. Bullet points. The written equivalent of soundbites.

Of course, that’s for copywriting. If you’re writing an article or short story or poem that just happens to be posted online, that’s a different matter. Anyhoo… The following samples reflect a few of the Web projects I have done. To get a quote on a project, please email me at leslie@lesliejthompson.com.
